Scott McCord grew up in the days before bicycle helmets when children dammed creeks and played with lawn darts…a time that, for better or worse, has passed. He graduated from Georgia Tech, earned his MBA at the University of Memphis, and in 2008, he made a huge career change to teach special education math in the public school system. After realizing his desire to give back to the community through teaching, in 2012 McCord attained his life-long dream of publishing his debut novel, The Bones of Boulder Creek. Join us and get inspired as we talk with Scott about changing his career, following his passion and leaving a legacy! |
